01Agreement to these terms
Storyn (“Storyn”, “we”, “us”) is a voice-to-book application for Apple platforms, operated by Christian Vazquez / Vaztiancode. By creating an account, downloading, or using Storyn, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
02The service
Storyn lets you record voice notes, transcribe them, and use on-device and Cloud AI features to organise and edit your words into a book that you can export and publish. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service.
03Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Storyn. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
04Your account
Some features require signing in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple ID secure and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
05Your content & ownership
- You own your content. The recordings, transcripts, drafts, and books you create in Storyn are and remain yours.
- You grant Storyn a limited, revocable licence to process your content only as needed to provide the features you request (such as transcription, AI editing, and export).
- We do not claim ownership of your work, do not publish it, and do not use your content to train AI models.
06AI-generated content
Storyn uses AI to clean up, organise, and draft text. AI output can contain errors, inaccuracies, or unintended changes. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-assisted content before you publish, print, or share it. Storyn’s original-transcript feature is provided so you can always compare against your own words.
07Acceptable use
You agree not to use Storyn to create, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or that violates the rights of others, and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
08Credits, free tier & subscriptions
Cloud AI features consume credits. Storyn currently offers a free tier with a monthly credit allowance and on-device AI. If paid plans become available, pricing and renewal terms will be shown in the app and processed by Apple through your App Store account, subject to Apple’s terms.
09Third-party services
Storyn relies on Apple (Sign in with Apple, iCloud, Speech, Apple Intelligence), Anthropic (Claude) for Cloud AI, and Supabase for backend infrastructure. Your use of these is also governed by their respective terms. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is shared.
10Disclaimers
Storyn is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your expectations.
11Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storyn and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of content or data, arising from your use of the app. You are encouraged to keep your own backups via the export features.
12Termination
You may stop using Storyn at any time by deleting the app and, if you wish, requesting account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated. Local data on your device remains under your control.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and, where changes are material, notify you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
