Storyn Plus ($9.99/month or $79.99/year) adds 1,000 credits monthly, premium chapter drafts, and ePub export.
What exactly is a credit?
A credit is roughly one minute of recorded audio processed by the AI. Cleaning up a 5-minute entry costs about 5 credits; organizing your book into chapters costs 5. Credits are only spent when you ask the AI to do something — never for recording or transcribing.
Who owns my book?
You do — 100%, always. Every export carries your name and your copyright. Storyn never claims any rights over your stories; our only mark is a small “Crafted with Storyn” credit, which Plus users can remove.
Is my voice private?
Transcription happens on your iPhone — your audio never leaves the device for that. Text is sent to our AI service only when you explicitly ask for an AI feature, and it’s never used to train models. Read the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Can I record my parents or grandparents?
Yes — it’s one of our favorite uses. Sit down with them, press record, and let them talk. Storyn keeps their voice and their way of telling things intact, and turns the conversation into a book your whole family can keep.
